AMS, manufacturers of complex semiconductor production
monitoring equipment, was a "start-up" enterprise
within multi-national electronics giant, Philips. AMS
needed a corporate identity that introduced the company
to the target audiences and positioned it within the
Philips corporate family.
Anastasia
Design developed the wave theme for the company logo.
AMS uses laser-based SurfacewaveTM Technologies to measure
and monitor semiconductor wafers on the production line,
and these red laser waves were our inspiration. In addition,
this theme mirrors the wave found on the Philips shield.
The
AMS Wave theme has been a central component of the companys
successful launch through trade shows, advertising,
web site, brochures, and other marketing materials.
The client has been overjoyed at the response. "If
there had an award for best-looking booth at Semicon,"
says AMS Chris Moore of the key industry trade
show, "we would have won it!" We have been
working almost daily with AMS now for almost two years.
We are their virtual in-house design department, fulfilling
any design need that arises and working proactively
to identify opportunities for them. Their design strength
has helped to catapult them into the top three
in this market space inside a year.
